Escape 100 | Lightful listed in the Top 100 mission-led organisations to work for in 2021

We are thrilled to be part of the Escape 100 list of best purpose-led companies to escape to in 2021! đ
The Escape 100 is an annual campaign by Escape the City to recognise organisations that care about its employees and the planet. Their list reveals the top 100 organisations that are leading the way in putting their people and our planet on a par with profit.
15,000 organisations were assessed against six key criteria and reviewed by their employees to identify the top 100. The list marks excellence in a number of key areas including innovation, impact, environmental concern, and most importantly, employee engagement.
Commenting on Lightfulâs selection, Vinay Nair, CEO & Co-Founder, said:
âWe are so honoured to have been selected! Our team has responded individually and collectively in exceptional ways throughout these challenging times. My wonderful colleagues keep our values and working principles central to what we do and how we do it. As our team grows further, to be officially recognised by Escape the City as one of the âTop 100 businesses to escape to in 2021â is an incredible feeling for every single one of us. I also want to note just how great it is to be with a group of 99 other wonderful purpose-led organisations â all of us are resolved to ensure that culture and impact align with financial growth and success. This is more important than ever, and Iâd like to extend my thanks and appreciation to the judging panel at ESC for giving Lightful this recognition.â
When asked about what it means to be named as a top 100 organisation to work for in 2021, Isabella Grable, Director of Human Resources, said:
âIt is amazing to work with people who identify with our mission and care about our culture and team values. If you are keen to apply to Lightful my advice is to read our blog, do some research on our website and tell us why you are interested in working with us based on what you found out. Our team culture and spirit is what makes Lightful unique. We are a diverse, inclusive and welcoming team. In applications and interviews, we want to get to know the person and love reading authentic cover letters. We are interested in you and want to hear about your experiences, as well as what drives you. Show us that you are genuinely interested in us too â please donât send us standard, generalised applications! You should target your CV and cover letter, illustrating with specific examples your understanding of what really matters to us. Share how your experience is relevant to the role you are applying for and what you think you can bring to the teamâ
